Natural Remedies for Beautiful Lashes

Is there a girl who doesn’t fantasize about having beautiful eyelashes which will draw everyone’s gaze? Sadly, we’re not all blessed with long and fluttering eyelashes, and in order to achieve that dramatic look we need to wear fake eyelashes or apply several coats of mascara. As effective as these methods are, they take their toll on your natural lashes, and you may notice them thinning or falling out often. Is there anything you can do to help them recover and grow thicker and longer? Luckily, there is!

Petroleum Jelly

Who knew that something as simple as petroleum jelly can help your lashes grow long and strong? After you remove your makeup, apply some petroleum jelly and leave it overnight. You can use an old mascara wand which you can clean and use for this purpose. This will keep your lashes hydrated and help them grow longer.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E can be found in many creams and serums you use for your skin because it does wonders for treating blemishes and also tightens your skin. What is more, it’s also great for your eyelashes because it will make them grow longer. Buy capsules of vitamin E and apply it to your lashes using merely the tips of your fingers or a small makeup brush. They will be nourished and you’ll notice they are thicker than ever before.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is simple, easy to get and incredibly beneficial for your skin as well as for your eyelashes. It’s known to contain vitamins and nutrients which will help your lashes grow faster, and it will also keep the gentle skin of your eyelids and around the eyes moisturized. Apply some fresh aloe vera to your eyelashes with an old mascara wand before going to bed, and rinse it off with lukewarm water the following morning. Still, it will take more than two months for you to notice the improvement because it’s a slow process, but it’s worth it.

Homemade Serum

For this simple but incredibly useful serum you will need two tablespoons of each castor oil and aloe vera gel, and four tablespoons of vitamin E oil. Mix the oils well before you add the gel. After all ingredients have been mixed put the mixture into an old nail polish bottle or a mascara container that have been well-washed. Use an old mascara wand (that’s also been washed well) to apply a coat of serum to your eyelashes before going to bed every night. You can also use the mixture on your eyebrows because it’s harmless.

Give them time to recover

First and foremost – you simply must remove all makeup before going to bed. It will give them time to ‘breathe’ and recover after being covered in mascara for hours. If your eyelashes are weak and fall out easily, they need time to recover from all those layers of mascara you’ve been wearing for years. Give your lashes time to grow without treating them with makeup – you can try out eyelash extensions Sydney and wake up every day looking like you’re wearing several skillfully applied coats of mascara or fake eyelashes.

Not only are eyelashes useful because they keep dirt particles and other impurities away you’re your eyes, but they look beautiful and can really draw attention to your eyes. If you notice your eyelashes are getting thinner and start falling out, don’t panic. Instead, help them recover and become stronger again by using some of the natural remedies which will help them get long and healthy again.
